In this workshop, participants will learn to use the table saw, mitersaw, sander, and drill to make a beautiful decorative box. This class is open to all! No woodworking experience required.

About the Instructor

Chelsea Van Voorhis is a visual artist and woodworker that uses a traditional medium of wood veneer to create non-traditional pieces with strong social and political commentary surrounding the female experience. Her passion is teaching at nonprofits and community organizations who encourage accessibility and inclusivity in craft. Chelsea lives in New Orleans with her rescue pup, Muppet.
